Brittany has an intersting insight on the special needs community, having played the role of family member and support worker. With a passion for writing and a need to give a voice to the voiceless, journlaism seemed like the only natural fit. When she's not writing and editing for Groundwork, she can be found running around the city writing stories for the Toronto Observer. Wanna chat, tweet her at @brittsrogers.
Beth first became interested in disability issues working at Camp Easter Seal in Manitou, Saskatchewan. She has since then taught horseback riding lessons to kids and adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. To read more of her work, please click here for a direct link to her website.

About Us
Groundwork Magazine’s promises are simple:
-
We do the work so our readers don’t have to.
-
We provide people in the special needs community with objective and accurate information.
-
We cater to any and all types of cognitive and physical disabilities in and around the GTA.
Our content is primarily geared towards parents and caregivers within the GTA. We aim to go to your community and make sure your hometown gets the attention it deserves.
What we offer is a magazine unlike our competition. Groundwork is not affiliated with any association, organization or government service, so, we will always provide unbiased information for all members of the community.
Groundwork publishes every two months (six issues a year). This allows us to include time sensitive events, like holiday related content and seasonal issues, as well as keeping parents and caregivers in the know about events in their community.
Let us be your zagat of what’s happening in the GTA, an unbiased resource and a connection between services and interested parties. So welcome to Groundwork Magazine, where we will always enable.
